Conwy
RSPB Nature Reserve near Llandudno has nature trails, wildlife, birdwatching
hides and a picnic area, all set amidst wonderful Snowdonia scenery.

Fishery, a family orientated fishing centre featuring coarse fishing,
shop, café and picnic areas.
Dominating
the town is Conwy
Castle, built in the late 13th Century by Edward I as part of
his "Iron Ring" to contain the Welsh; the castle retains
its medieval atmosphere and has a dramatic location.

The
Great Orme near Llandudno is one of the best known coastal country
parks in Wales. The park is famed for its views, its ancient history
and its wildlife.
Trefriw
Woollen Mills is famed for its dyed raw wool products and especially
its "tapestry" double weave bedspreads which can be bought
at the shop.
Talyllyn
Narrow Gauge Railway first ran in 1865, now, steam trains run
between Tywyn Wharf and Nant Gwernol amidst spectacular scenery.
Bodelwyddan
Castle is a turreted Victorian castle with parkland, formal gardens,
portraits from the National Gallery, woodland walks, children's adventure
playground and giant chess.
Bodnant
Garden, Tal-y-cafn, Colwyn Bay, is famed for its Laburnum Arch
at its best in May and June. There are 80 acres of gardens to explore,
a plant collector centre, a gift shop and a refreshment pavilion.
The
Welsh Mountain Zoo and gardens is situated high above Colwyn Bay
and features panoramic views, tigers, bears, sea lions, alligators,
monkeys and more.
SeaQuarium,
Rhyl has sharks, eels, octopus and more, including a fun zone,
gifts and café.
LLanfair
Slate Caverns near Harlech was used as a film location for "First
Knight" and is an opportunity to explore a slate mine dating
back over 100 years.
